Brighton is a software engineering intern at Smarty and a computer science student at Utah Valley University with a deep-rooted love for problem-solving. He's been programming for more than a decade and is endlessly curious about how things work—especially at the intersection of computer science and aerospace engineering. From building games to writing orbital calculation programs and maintaining libraries he actively supports, Brighton brings both technical depth and long-term thinking to his work.

At Smarty, Brighton applies his experience across high-level languages like Rust, C#, Java, Python, and Go to help build reliable, well-crafted systems. His background includes supporting fellow students as a computer science teaching assistant, tackling hands-on technical challenges across campus roles, and contributing to real-world software projects.
