Originally from the Bay Area, Teresa Snyder moved to Utah with her husband to attend school. Though they planned to return to California, they stayed in Utah, raising their daughters in the local area. As her daughters grew older, Teresa went back to school as a non-traditional student, earning both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Accountancy from BYU. Despite the challenges of the rigorous program, she embraced the difficulty and succeeded with determination.
Following graduation, Teresa spent over a decade as an accounting professional in the medical device industry. When asked about her work, she humorously describes it as “moving numbers around in Excel all day.” A homebody at heart, Teresa enjoys quilting, reading WWII historical fiction (with a few personal improvement books sprinkled in), and attending family gatherings and activities.
