Easton came to us with several years of experience as a software developer, having coded in Go, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Flutter, Clojure, Python, Plait, Node, Rust, and others. Prior to Smarty, he worked at Brigham Young University where he developed a CS course from scratch, several products for the office of digital humanities, and taught a handful of lectures. Easton has also tutored in both math and computer science and loves to teach anybody who has cultivated a love of learning. He even dabbles in hardware design if he feels so inclined. You'd think he was made of code if you didn't get to know his warm smile and friendly demeanor.
