BREAKING: USPS slashes address verification to 60 addresses/hour. What now?
Antarctica address formats by country
Welcome, curious traveler! 🐧
You've ventured to the iciest continent of them all—Antarctica!
While we’d love to provide address formats, it turns out penguins, polar bears, and ice queens don’t have any! Antarctica is a “No fixed address” zone, but if having one is a twinkle in your eye, you could be the postmaster general there if you’re a real go-getter and don’t mind frostbite…
If you want to send a letter, just attach it to a snowflake and whisper it to the wind. It’ll have about as much luck as traditional mail delivery here.
Fun fact: The closest thing Antarctica has to addresses are the names of research stations like McMurdo, Palmer, and Concordia. But even then, there’s no official postal system—just a lot of determined researchers and sled dogs (okay, maybe no dogs anymore, but the imagery is fun, right?).
