Smarty expands parcel boundary coverage to Canada
OREM, Utah, August 3, 2026 — Smarty, the address data intelligence company, today announced the release of Canada Parcel Boundary Data, giving organizations a simpler way to access and use parcel information across Canadian provinces and territories.
The release follows the January 2026 launch of US Parcel Boundary Data and expands Smarty’s parcel coverage into Canada. Canada Parcel Boundary Data helps teams move more quickly from data acquisition to analysis; instead of collecting, cleaning, and reconciling records from multiple jurisdictions, customers can quickly access reliable provincial/national parcel boundary data with a consistent schema.

Along with parcel geometry, the dataset includes formatted and normalized parcel numbers, alternate parcel identifiers, parsed physical address components, postal codes, Census division information, administrative geography, right-of-way indicators, and calculated parcel area to streamline analytics and GIS workflows.
Canada-specific fields include first-, second-, and third-level administrative divisions, plus First Nations reserve or federal land information when available from the source. The dataset is updated quarterly.
